Alterations and Upcycling Workshop

This workshop introduces the sewer to alterations, tailor repairs and upcycling clothing. Our 1 day alterations workshop is perfect for students of all ages from teens to nans! Using sample clothing we will cover the following – how to change a zip, alter hems, alter sleeves, reduce and expand waistbands. The student can also brings along an item of clothing from home to alter with the guidance of our highly experienced tutor.

The student must have completed our level 1 beginners sewing course or have sewing experience and understand how to use and operate the sewing machine.
