A bit about us…
Sew Fun Studios is an internationally renowned edutainment company that has been operating in Wexford since 2016. We pride ourselves in being the only school in the South-East that teaches both adults and kids the wonderful art of Sewing and Design through various classes, courses and workshops.
Sew Fun Studios Wexford now has an opening for a part time flexible Tutor to join our expanding team on a part-time basis.
Your new role
- You will operate adult sewing classes as a mobile sewing tutor. Your classes will be based from Wicklow to Kildare
- You will teach adults of all ages and abilities how to operate the sewing machine working through our easy to follow lesson plans and patterns
- You will operate classes in the evenings, mornings and sometimes on Saturdays
- Full training will be provided in all Sew Fun Studios activities
What you’ll need to succeed
- You will need to be an excellent communicator & have a bright personality
- You will need to be a people person
- You will be required to have excellent customer service and be able to interact with adult learners
- You will have an ability to multi task & work under pressure
- You will need to be responsible and have the ability to problem solve
- You will need your own car and be flexible with the hours you can work
- You will be required to store the sewing machines, fabrics and supplies at your home in between classes
- We have roles for people with varying degrees of sewing experience and those who have an interest in starting their career
